CLIENT TESTIMONIALS

"Cozzy was lovely and highly informative. My old boy thoroughly enjoyed his treatment and moved 10x better in the days after. Highly recommended."

Jenyca Bryant

"Can’t thank you enough for the fantastic work you do on my horses !!

Ali felt insane the last 2 days, pirouettes better then ever.

Lolly was the softest and most relaxed she’s ever been, best rides I’ve ever had on her.

And the biggest win of all is my young boy Diego!! I can saddle him without breaking out the crossties!!!!

He’s been absolutely amazing the last 2 days."

Shanon McKimmie, GP dressage rider

"I met Cozzy today for the first time and i must say how calm and lovely she is! She’s definitely going after her feelings and intuition what THE HORSES NEED is and not just “selling” something. Cozzy worked on my brumby gelding today and he is a bit shy with strangers, but with her great energy he was doing so well and was very relaxed after. I learned a lot today too and I’m looking forward to get Cozzy back to help my boy I thank you for who you are."

Steph Lu

"Cozzy is a fantastic horsewoman, very patient and thorough. She has treated multiple of my animals both horse and dog with great results. Highly recommend her service."

Racheal Graham

"Just to show the difference you have made.. We never took Summer (boxer) down to the dam because it was too far for her to walk herself.

Today she walked, she played for quite some time then walked back to the house. Thank you so much!

MASSAGE

Massage therapy is well known to loosen and relieve tight or sore muscles, improve circulation, release fascial adhesions, balance the body and improve flexibility, allowing the horse to move more freely and comfortably.

It helps to stimulate blood flow, bringing fresh oxygen and nutrients to the tissues while flushing out toxins.

By addressing muscular imbalances and promoting relaxation and flexibility, regular massage can help to improve a horse’s performance.

As a preventative measure, massage helps in the early detection of potential issues like strains, inflammation or muscle imbalances, which is crucial for a horse's longevity and career sustainability.

Massage also relaxes the horse both physically and mentally, and is useful in developing trust and relieving the anxiety that many horses experience.

Techniques used include sports and deep tissue massage, compression and distraction, myofascial release, range-of-motion techniques and trigger point therapy.

Benefits include pain relief, improved range of motion and locomotor function, increased circulation, stress reduction, relaxation and improved performance.

ACUPUNCTURE

Acupuncture is a branch of Chinese Medicine with a history of over 3000 years. The meridian system connects all parts of the body and through the meridians flows energy (Qi), which can become blocked or altered with pain or disease states.

Treatment involves using very fine needles at certain points along the channels (or meridians) to rebalance the body's energy and enable it's innate capacity to heal itself.

The acupuncture points can be thought of like the doors and windows in a house; by opening and closing certain ones, we can redirect the airflow and clear out stagnant air so that the body's energy can flow freely.

Acupuncture helps bring the body back into balance and works both locally and systemically, making it effective in treating diverse ailments.

It can help with musculoskeletal issues as well as systemic issues such as laminitis, arthritis, digestive and respiratory issues.

Benefits include pain reduction, increased range of motion, improved circulation, reduced inflammation, improved gut motility, balancing the reproductive system, stimulating the immune system, reduction of fevers and inflammation and many more.

PEMF

Pulsed electromagnetic field (PEMF) therapy is a non-invasive technology which applies a magnetic field to the cells within the body.

This impulse interacts with ions in the cells, accelerating activity and increasing the flow of oxygen and nutrients. It also increases cellular energy (ATP production), enabling cells to function optimally.

When applied to injuries, PEMF Therapy can assist in both kick-starting and boosting the healing process at a cellular level, whilst simultaneously accelerating the disposal of toxins and waste products.

It can reduce inflammation and support difficult-to-heal injuries like tendon strains and fractures, with regular treatments.

There is also no down-time after a PEMF treatment, making it ideal for horses in busy work schedules and enabling treatment just before a race or competition.

Benefits include enhanced performance, accelerated injury recovery through cellular regeneration, increased circulation, pain relief and reduced inflammation.

CUPPING & GUA SHA

Cupping, or myofascial decompression, creates space by decompressing layers of tissue, allowing an influx of blood and nutrients into the area, and with this a removal of toxins and waste products.

It provides pain relief by causes muscles to relax and fascia to stretch and release, alleviating tension, inflammation and stiffness and allowing for greater relaxation and movement in the soft tissues.

New research has even found cupping more efficient in the pain management of knee osteoarthritis than pharmaceuticals, just one example of how powerful this modality can be.

Guasha uses an instrument to 'scrape' along the skin's surface, breaking up adhesions or restrictions in the muscle and fascia, increasing circulation and range of movement to provide quite instant, significant relief from tightness, pain and discomfort.

Gua sha also stimulates lymphatic drainage (as does cupping), and may be done over sore areas or along meridians for different effects.

Benefits include increased range of motion and suppleness, pain reduction, increased circulation and lymphatic drainage.
